September 08, 2025 (MLN): Honda has brought back life to the 6th-generation City in Pakistan with the launch of a new Aspire S variant, ending a five-year pause.

The new addition focuses on styling improvements and convenience features rather than mechanical changes, but it still represents the most comprehensive refresh the City has seen in years.

The Aspire S is priced at Rs6,149,000, making it Rs180,000 more expensive than the previous top-end Aspire 1.5L CVT.

Despite the higher cost, the car continues to use the same 1.5L i-VTEC engine, identical chassis dimensions, and core safety features such as dual airbags, ABS, and EBD.

Honda’s strategy with the S variant is to retain proven strengths while offering customers a more polished and modern driving experience.

On the outside, the car now carries a redesigned Honda emblem and introduces two new shades, Canyon River Blue and Ignite Red.

It also features a black trunk spoiler with an integrated LED stop lamp, a shark-fin antenna, and a full LED lighting setup that covers headlights, fog lamps, and taillights.

Chrome accents on the door handles and garnish, along with black side mirrors and newly finished alloy wheels, complete the updated look.

The cabin has also received attention with new-pattern fabric seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel stitched in a baseball style, and a matching stitched gear knob.

The addition of tweeters enhances the audio quality, while features such as smart entry, push-start ignition, cruise control, automatic climate control, and rear air vents make daily use more comfortable and effortless.

By focusing on cosmetic upgrades and user-friendly technology, Honda has positioned the Aspire S as a more complete package compared to its predecessor.

While the engine and structure remain unchanged, the extra convenience and style justify the premium for buyers seeking a modernized City after half a decade of waiting.
