NBP replaces EFERT in UPP9 index

November 03, 2026 (MLN): The
Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has replaced Engro Fertilizers Limited with
National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) in the UBL Pakistan Enterprise Index (UPP9)
following a re-composition exercise carried out as of 30 October 2026.
The change will take
effect from Tuesday, 3 November 2026.
In a notice, the exchange
said the exercise was conducted in line with the relevant index rules available
on its website.
It named NBP as the
incoming company and Engro Fertilizers as the outgoing one.
After the re-composition,
Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) and United Bank Limited (UBL) carry the
highest weights in the index at 16 % each.
Meezan Bank Limited
follows with 13.63 %, then Engro Holdings Limited with 13.21 % and The Hub
Power Company Limited with 10.73 %. NBP enters with a weight of 4.65 %, the
lowest among the nine constituents.
