Major US textile supplier showcases growing business with Pakistan

August 07, 2026 (MLN): Calderon Textiles, an Indiana-based supplier of textile solutions to the hospitality and healthcare sectors, sources a significant share of its products from Pakistani manufacturers, it emerged during a visit by Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh.

Ambassador Sheikh toured the company's headquarters and distribution center, where he was briefed on its operations, warehousing facilities, and nationwide supply network, along with its commercial engagement with Pakistan, according to the press release.

"This partnership reflects the quality, reliability, and global competitiveness of Pakistan's textile industry and represents an excellent example of mutually beneficial commercial cooperation between Pakistan and the United States," Ambassador Sheikh said.

He reaffirmed the Government of Pakistan's commitment to expanding bilateral trade and attracting greater foreign investment through continued economic reforms and a transparent, business-friendly policy framework.

Ambassador Sheikh emphasized that stronger business-to-business linkages would help unlock new commercial opportunities, enhance bilateral trade, encourage innovation and job creation, and further strengthen the economic partnership between Pakistan and the United States.
