MOC announces to transfer Rs8bn under DLTL starting from July 2nd

June 30, 2021 (MLN): Ministry of Commerce on Wednesday announced that the Rs8 billion under Drawback of Local Taxes and Levies (DLTL) schemes will be transferred starting from 2nd July 2021.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood said, “I hope that this will facilitate the cash flow issues of our business exporters & strengthens their production.”
In the month of April, MOC had released Rs2.5 billion under DLTL in line with the longstanding demand of industries that are facing liquidity crunch due to unsettled funds.
