Kia global sales climb in June

July 01, 2026 (MLN): South Korean automaker Kia recorded a 9.5% year-on-year increase in global vehicle sales during June 2026, supported by sustained demand for its sport utility vehicle (SUV) lineup.

The company sold 295,720 vehicles worldwide during the month, compared to the same period last year.

The Sportage remained Kia's top-selling model with 54,058 units sold, followed by the Seltos at 35,007 units, while the K4 compact sedan ranked third with 22,373 units.

Sales in international markets climbed 7.6% year-on-year to 240,259 units, while deliveries in South Korea surged 18.6% to 54,508 units, as APP reported.

During the first six months of 2026, Kia achieved its strongest first-half performance on record, with global sales reaching 1.63 million vehicles, reflecting continued momentum across key markets.
