Intermarket Securities signs MoU with Biowaste Energy Ventures for ESG initiative

July 15, 2026 (MLN): Intermarket Securities Limited's (PSX:IMS) Board of Directors has approved the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Biowaste Energy Ventures (Private) Limited (BEVL) to collaborate on an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiative, in line with the company's ESG strategy and the SECP ESG Disclosure Guidelines.

The collaboration aims to support the development of designated waste-collection infrastructure to facilitate the collection and processing of livestock and agricultural waste for conversion into clean energy and organic by-products, contributing to environmental sustainability and supporting its ESG objectives.

The MoU provides a framework for cooperation between the parties and does not constitute an acquisition, joint venture, equity investment, or any other binding commercial partnership.

The company said it will continue to evaluate opportunities arising from this collaboration and will make further disclosures to the Exchange as and when required under the applicable regulatory framework.
