September 28, 2026 (MLN): BankIslami Pakistan Limited's (PSX:BIPL) Imran
Haleem Shaikh will take charge as President and Chief Executive Officer with
effect from September 29, 2026.
The bank referred to its earlier letter (Ref. No.
BIPL/CSD/2026/219) dated August 10, 2026.
Imran Haleem Shaikh has been serving as Deputy Chief
Executive Officer at BankIslami since January 2024. Before joining the bank, he
spent over 13 years at JS Bank, where he served as Chief Operating Officer from
July 2020 to December 2023, overseeing the bank's Retail Banking, Cross-Sales,
Consumer, Product, Marketing and Administrative divisions.
The aforementioned information was disseminated through
a notification to Exchange.
