October 31, 2025 (MLN):  The government is fully committed to tackling Pakistan’s mounting housing crisis, which has surpassed ten million units, through innovative policies, sustainable development, and strong public-private partnerships.

This was stated by Federal Minister for Housing and Works Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada while inaugurating the “Build Pakistan 2025 – Let’s Build Together” exhibition and conference at Expo Centre, Lahore, said a press release issued.

The three-day international event, jointly organized by the Ministry of Housing and Works and Fakt Exhibitions Pvt. He also unveiled key components of the forthcoming National Housing Policy 2025, focusing on housing finance reform, energy-efficient design, and inter-sectoral collaboration to achieve sustainable growth.

Prominent participants included CEO of Fakt Exhibitions Mr. Saleem Khan Tanoli, former Federal Secretary for Housing and ex-Director General of Walled City Lahore Authority Mr. Kamran Lashari, Urban Development Specialist Mr. Nadeem Khurshid, and Pro Rector of NUML University Prof. Dr. Safeer Awan.
