Gold rates stay flat

September 01, 2021 (MLN): Gold rates in global markets were caught in a tight range today, up by only $1 to reach $1,814 an ounce as investors awaited US key jobs data on Friday that could give clues about future Fed monetary policy.

While silver was valued at $23.94 per ounce.

On the domestic front, gold closed flat today in the bullion market, as the price of 24 karat per tola gold remained stable at Rs111,000, Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Group reported.

The price of 10-gram 24 karat and 10-gram 22 Karat gold also witnessed no change and were sold at Rs95,165 and Rs87,234 respectively.

The price of per tola and 10-gram silver remained stable at Rs1,430 and Rs1,226 respectively.
