Gold rates plunge by Rs,1000 on Monday

March 29, 2021 (MLN): The price of single tola 24 karat gold in domestic bullion market fell further by Rs.1000 on Monday to settle at Rs 105,700 per tola against the price of Rs 106,300 per tola reported Friday, data provided by Karachi Sarafa Association revealed.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram of 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs 857 to Rs 90,621.

On the other hand, the price of per tola and ten-gram silver remained constant at Rs1,360 and Rs1,165.98 respectively.

In the international market, gold rates came down further by $6 and traded at $1,727 an ounce, while silver was valued at $24.85 an ounce compared to $25.06 an ounce in yesterday’s session.
