Gold rate increases by Rs 1,600 per tola

April 01, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices rebounded on Thursday in domestic bullion markets. The price of 24 karat gold surged by Rs 1,600 to Rs 104,500 per tola. Likewise, the price of 10-gram gold also witnessed an increase of Rs 1,372 to settle at Rs 89,592 against the previous close of Rs 88,220 per gram.

On the other hand, the price of silver remained static as 24-Karat silver per tola and 10-gram were available at Rs 1,320 and Rs 1,131.68 respectively, data provided by Karachi Sarafa Association revealed.

The gold prices in the international market also went up by US $27 and traded at US $1,712 while silver was valued at US $24.34, the association reported.
