Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs3,500 per tola

August 27, 2026 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs483,036 per tola, down Rs3,500.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs414,125 after a decline of Rs3,001, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs379,628 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs7,329 per tola (+Rs50) and Rs6,283 per 10-gram (+Rs43).

Globally, spot gold traded near $4,595 an ounce, down $28.9 or 0.62% from the previous session, as concerns over currency debasement continued to support the metal, with market focus turning to closely watched comments expected from Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh later this week.
