Globally, spot gold traded near $4,308 an ounce, down $34.4 or 0.79% from the previous session, as stronger expectations of a U.S. Federal Reserve interest rate hike weighed on investor sentiment, while escalating tensions in the Middle East pushed oil prices higher and raised inflation concerns.
