Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs2,700 per tola

May 08, 2026 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs494,062 per tola, down Rs2,700.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs423,578 after a decline of Rs2,315, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs388,293 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs8,525 per tola (+Rs80) and Rs7,308 per 10-gram (+Rs68).

Globally, spot gold traded near $4,724 an ounce, up $20 or 0.43% from the previous session, as concerns over inflation and rising interest rates continued to subside.
