Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs200 per tola

August 13, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs358,100 per tola, down Rs200.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs307,013 after a decline of Rs171, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs281,438 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs4,072 per tola (+Rs59) and Rs3,491 per 10-gram (+Rs51).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,365 an ounce, up $15.1 or 0.45% from the previous session.

Gold rose on Wednesday as expectations of a U.S. Federal Reserve interest rate cut in September gained traction following mild inflation data, while a weaker dollar bolstered bullion's demand.
