Gharibwal Cement halts clinker production after kiln fan damage

August 17, 2026 (MLN): Gharibwal Cement Limited (PSX: GWLC) has temporarily stopped clinker production after the kiln ID fan was damaged during operation.

The company has initiated necessary repair and maintenance activities. The replacement ID fan and its parts have been procured from the manufacturer, with shipment expected next month.

The relevant letter of credit has already been opened, while all other activities are underway to resume normal operations as soon as possible.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
