Finance Bill 2026 tabled in national assembly

June 12, 2026 (MLN): Finance and Revenue Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb on Friday tabled the Finance Bill 2026 in the National Assembly, giving formal legislative shape to the federal government’s financial proposals for the fiscal year starting July 1, 2026, along with proposed amendments to existing laws.
He also presented the Annual Budget Statement for 2026–27,
which includes revised estimates for the current fiscal year 2025–26.
In addition, the minister submitted the Demands for Grants
and Appropriations for 2026–27, as well as Regular and Technical Supplementary
Grants covering 2024–25 and 2025–26.
Aurangzeb further placed the Excess Budget Statements for
the fiscal years 2016–17 and 2024–25 before the lower house.
