Federal cabinet approves extension of Pak-Afghanistan Transit Trade Agreement

February 10, 2021: The federal cabinet has approved a three-month extension in the Afghanistan Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement (APTTA) under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister.
The Afghanistan Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement is expiring on 11th February 2021.
The Cabinet on Tuesday allowed the extension of the APTTA until Pakistan and Afghanistan conclude their ongoing discussions on the proposed “amendments, suggestions and additions” in the updated agreement.
APTTA was signed on 28th October 2010 in Kabul which was effective since 12th February 2011.
