Bestway Cement shareholders reject BAL's right shares offer

September 01, 2026 (MLN): Bestway Cement Limited (PSX:BWCL) shareholders have declined the offer of right shares from its subsidiary Bestway Automotive (Private) Limited (BAL) in a meeting held on August 31, 2026.

The company said that following the shareholders' decision, BAL now has the discretion to allot the right shares to another party, including any Bestway Group company, in accordance with the law.

The company noted that the allotment of the right shares to another party will result in BAL ceasing to be a subsidiary of Bestway Cement.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
