Beco Steel makes export debut with Copper Ingots to Hong Kong

July 10, 2025 (MLN): Beco Steel Limited (PSX: BECO) has officially entered the global export arena, dispatching its first international consignment of copper ingots to Hong Kong, China.
Extracted from remeltable scrap within the company’s existing raw material stockpile, this milestone marks the beginning of a strategic pivot toward expanding revenue sources and global reach.
The announcement, disclosed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, highlighting Beco Steel’s intent to grow its export footprint.
Though this shipment is the first of its kind, the company signaled strong optimism for continued and progressive developments in international trade.
“This initial step holds promise for long-term business growth,” said Abdul Shakdop, Company Secretary at Beco Steel, in a formal communication to the Exchange.
