aik by BankIslami goes cashless with Shariah QR

November 04, 2025 (MLN): In a move to accelerate the adoption of digital payments in Pakistan, aik by BankIslami is introducing a Shariah-compliant QR payments activation campaign at Creek Walk Food Street, Karachi, running from November 7 to 16, 2025.

This initiative supports the Go Cashless Economy Drive championed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the State Bank of Pakistan, highlighting aik’s commitment to promoting secure, interest-free digital banking solutions.

The campaign is designed to empower local merchants with aik QR, a fast, secure, and Shariah-compliant digital payment solution. Merchants can now accept digital payments seamlessly, while customers benefit from a convenient and cashless payment experience.

To further incentivize adoption, aik QR payments will offer 50% cashback for aik and BankIslami customers and 30% cashback for other bank customers, making digital transactions even more attractive (terms and conditions apply).

This campaign emphasizes aik by BankIslami’s commitment to financial inclusion, driving Shariah-compliant innovation and supporting the broader push for a cashless economy.
