24-karat gold jumps by Rs600 per tola, silver unchanged

July 07, 2023 (MLN): Domestic bullion continued its momentum on Friday, with 24-karat gold reaching Rs208,400 per tola, increasing by Rs600.

As per the Karachi Sarafa Association, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold was registered at Rs178,670 per tola, witnessing a Rs515 rise per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram 22-karat gold was noted at Rs163,780 per tola.

Contrarily, the price of silver remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver to close at Rs2,480 per tola, and the price of 10-gram 24-karat silver reaching Rs2,126 per tola.

On the other hand, international spot gold is currently trading at $1,917.96 rising by 0.34% on the day.

Market participants are monitoring the upcoming U.S. Non-farm payrolls (NFP) figures for June due to be released today at 5:30 PST.

Meanwhile, international spot silver is currently trading at $22.70, decreasing by -0.10% on the day.
