2018 General Elections to be held on 25 – 27, July

President Mr. Mamnoon Hussian today announced the election dates for 2018 General Election. The elections will be held during 25th to 27th of July, 2018, according to the schedule prepared by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has finalized the final electoral rolls, symbols along-with a final list of constituencies.

Furthermore the Election Commission of Pakistan for the 2018 polls has registered a total 110 political parties who will field their candidates for election.

Of the total parties, 17 parties from Karachi, 21 parties from Lahore, 8 from Quetta and 22 parties from Islamabad have been registered.

Overall, politicians from across the country will contest for votes on 272 National Assembly constituencies and 577 Provincial Assemblies from across the country. Process for assigning symbols to political parties and independent individuals has already been finalized. A total 330 symbols in all forms and shapes have been assigned to the candidates.

Election Commission has also uploaded marked maps of constituencies along with their territorial boundaries of each district across the country.
