November 28, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Friday's trading session at 166,677.69, showing an increase of 1,304.38 points or 0.79%.

The index remained positive throughout the day showing an intraday high of 167,005.05 (+1,631.74) and a low of 165,753.35 (+380.04) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 295.62 million shares.

 

Of the 100 index companies 69 closed up, 30 closed down, while 1 was unchanged.

Top gainers during the day were SSGC (+10.01%), SRVI (+8.28%), PIOC (+6.86%), SAZEW (+4.43%), and PSX (+4.43%).

On the other hand, top losers were FATIMA (-3.64%), PKGP (-3.09%), YOUW (-2.86%), CPHL (-1.76%), and TPLRF1 (-1.71%).

 

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were SYS (+175.67pts), PPL (+116.26pts), HUBC (+108.86pts), OGDC (+108.33pts), and LUCK (+99.69pts).

Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were FFC (-201.54pts), FATIMA (-60.30pts), EFERT (-27.83pts), NBP (-21.36pts), and MARI (-15.78pts).

 

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Commercial Banks (+311.45pts), Cement (+263.35pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (+228.73pts), Technology & Communication (+179.28pts), and Power Generation & Distribution (+104.04pts).

While the index was let down by Fertilizer (-289.67pts), Real Estate Investment Trust (-5.45pts), Sugar & Allied Industries (-2.82pts), Tobacco (-2.55pts), and Close - End Mutual Fund (-2.08pts).

 

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 52,361.95 with a net gain of 409.77 points or 0.79%.

Total market volume was 592.75 million shares compared to 498.36m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs41.97 billion showing an increase of Rs11.38bn.

There were 366,877 trades reported in 477 companies with 237 closing up, 199 closing down, and 41 remaining unchanged.

To note, the KSE-100 has gained 41,050 points or 32.68% during the fiscal year, whereas it has increased 51,551 points or 44.78% so far this calendar year.
