YOUW to hold extraordinary general meeting on March 4

February 18, 2025 (MLN): The extraordinary general meeting of Yousaf Weaving Mills Limited (YOUW) will be held in Lahore via video link on Tuesday, March 4.

The meeting aims to transact ordinary business, including confirming the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on October 28, 2024, as stated in the notice issued by YOUW.

Additionally, the shareholders will elect seven directors, as fixed by the board, for a three-year term commencing on March 4.

Furthermore, the share transfer books for ordinary shares of the company will remain closed from February 26, 2025, to March 4, 2025 (both days inclusive).

Any valid transfers received in order by the company’s share registrar, Corplink (Pvt) Limited, before the close of business on February 25, 2025, will be processed in time.

As per the notice, every candidate for the election must be a member of the company, except for individuals representing a member who is a non-natural person.
