April 07, 2025 (MLN): The White House rejected reports labeling them as "fake news," which suggested that U.S. President Donald Trump was contemplating a 90-day pause on tariffs.

The rumors claimed that Trump was considering a temporary halt to the reciprocal tariffs announced on April 2, which applied to all countries except China, as Bloomberg reported.

In response, the White House posted on X, stating, "Wrong. Fake News," dismissing the claims that Trump was planning to implement the pause.
