WB to finance two projects worth $530 million in Pakistan

A Financing Agreement was signed between World Bank Country Director and Secretary Economic Division, Pakistan.

Under the agreement, World Bank will finance two developmental projects in Pakistan worth a total sum of $ 530 million dollars.

The funds will be utilized in the uplift of Public Finance, Health and Education in Pakistan. Whereas, some of the funds will be utilized to help the Agriculture Sector in Punjab.

World Bank agreed to Pakistan’s request for loans last week.
