Wah Nobel Chemicals to boost UFMC plant capacity by 6

August 13, 2024 (MLN): The Board of Directors of Wah Nobel Chemicals Limited (PSX: WAHN) has approved an increase in the capacity of its Urea Formaldehyde Moulding Compound (UFMC) plant from 13,000 metric tons per annum to 19,000 metric tons per annum.

According to a notice issued by the company to PSX today, the decision was made by the board in its meeting held today.

Additionally, the board has approved the Budget for the financial year 2024-25 (FY25).

To note, the principal activity of WAHN is to manufacture Urea Formaldehyde Moulding Compound, Formaldehyde and Formaldehyde based liquid resins for use as bonding agent in the chip board, plywood and flush door manufacturing industries.
