The investment, made with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), aims to enhance the country's telecom infrastructure and contribute to the advancement of digital services, according to the press release.

The IT and telecom sectors are key priority areas for SFIC.

The SIFC operates as a paramount decision-making platform aimed at spearheading "structural reforms" within the economy.

VEON Group's investment will open doors for small and medium enterprise financing in Pakistan.
