August 19, 2024 (MLN): The U. S. A. remained the top export destination for Pakistan during July 2024, with $476.02 million worth of shipments, up by 8.2% against the exports of $439.89m in same period last year.
According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, this was followed by U. K., as Pakistan exported goods worth $183.3m to the country as compared to the exports of $172.72m recorded during the same month of the previous year, depicting a rise of 6.1%.
U. A. E. Dubai was the third on the list as Pakistan generated export revenue worth $176.18m from the country. This figure was up by 41.1% from the exports of $124.82m in the same period last year.
China was the fourth in line as exports to the region during the aforementioned period were $160.1m, depicting an increase of 5.8% YoY.
Among other countries, Pakistan's exports to the Germany stood at $135.46m, marking a rise of 9.5% YoY, while exports to Netherlands (Holland) increased by 15.9% YoY to $124.55m.
Moreover, the export receipts received from Spain stood at $106.71m, down by 14.4% YoY.
While on a sequential basis, the total exports to U. S. A. increased by 7.3% MoM. While exports to U. K. increased by 20.9% MoM.
Moreover, receipts received from exports to U. A. E. Dubai depicted an increase of 6.9% MoM.
