Unity Foods gains ISCC-EU certification to boost global presence

December 09, 2024 (MLN): Unity Foods Limited (PSX: UNITY) has successfully obtained the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC - EU) to boost its presence in the global biofuel market, as reported by company's filing to psx.

As part of this effort, Unity Foods has successfully executed sample shipments to potential long-term off-takers, with positive feedback received thus far.

The company aims to export sustainable and traceable biofeul feedstock from Pakistan to global producers of biofuel particularly Sustainable Aviation Fuel.

This certification, and subsequent finalization of off-take contract(s), will allow the company to increase its revenue by virtue of exports to EU and Far East customers.
