TRG Pakistan reports Rs4.98bn loss in FY22

September 30, 2022 (MLN): TRG Pakistan reported a huge loss of Rs4.98 billion as compared to Rs25.85bn profit in the same period last year, according to the latest financial report.

In the report, the company’s profit before taxation fell by 119.33% to Rs5.88bn as compared to Rs30.43bn in the same period last year.

TRG Pakistan’s earnings are totally driven by the changes in the value of its shares in TRG international limited and this year’s share of the net loss in equity accounted for investee stood at Rs14.73bn compared to the Rs30.31bn profit in the same period last year.

In FY22, the company’s loss per share stood at Rs9.132 against earnings per share of Rs47.40 in the same period last year.
