TRG appoints Waleed Tariq Saigol as Chairman

January 18, 2022 (MLN): The board of TRG Pakistan Limited has appointed Mr. Waleed Tariq Saigol as its Chairman in place of Mr. Peter H.R. Riepenhausen with effect from 14th January 2022, the company informed through a notice to exchange today.

While the board has reappointed Mr. Hasnain Aslam as its Chief Executive Officer with effect from 17th January 2022.

To recall, on Jan 11, 2022, the TRG board had announced the election results of the directors of TRG Group at its AGM as per which Mr. Khaldoon Bin Latif from Faysal Asset Management secured the highest votes, more than 504 million votes.

Meanwhile, Mr. Farrukh Imdad from Hamdard Group and Mr. Hasnain Aslam from TRG Group obtained around 488mn and 486mn votes, respectively.
