Toyota Pakistan shuts down plant once again as several employees test positive for COVID-19

June 10, 2020 (MLN): Indus Motor Company has shut down its plant for 5 days to completely disinfect its facility and perform comprehensive employee testing for COVID-19.

In an announcement that was made on all of its social media accounts, the Company said that the decision to close down the plant ensued after ‘some of the employees who underwent testing got diagnosed with COVID-19’. However, none of these employees was in serious condition, the company asserted.

Furthermore, the company stated that it has decided to immediately test all its employees for the virus, including those without symptoms.
