Total Fertilizer offtake rises by 49.7% in Aug

September 25, 2019 (MLN): Total fertilizer offtake during the month of August, 2019 stood at 393 thousand tonnes, demonstrating an increase of 49.7 percent as compared to the corresponding period of last year
As per the data provided by National Fertilizer Development Centre (NFDC), out of these 393 thousand tonnes sold, the largest share of sales were made for Nitrogen at 329 thousand tonnes, while the least amount of sales were made for Potash at 3.5 thousand tonnes.
Nitrogen offtake increased by 28.8 percent and phosphate offtake increased by 192.8 percent
Meanwhile, potash offtake decreased by 18.3 percent over August, 2019.
