TIP revival is vital to catering needs of IT industry of Pakistan: Federal Minister

August 22, 2019: Federal Minister for Privatization Mohammad mian Soomro called on Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Wednesday. Matters related to privatization of Telephone Industries of Pakistan were discussed during the meeting.

Federal Minister for IT said TIP is our asset and steps will be taken for its revival. He said that multiple business options are available for utilizing the infrastructure of TIP.

He said that it is our priority to make TIP a revenue generating body. He said that revival of TIP is vital to catering needs of IT industry of Pakistan.

Federal Secretary Ministry of IT and Secretary Privatization Commission along with others were also present in the meeting.
