Technical Issues hamper Pakistan’s Internet Access

October 29, 2019 (MLN): Pakistan’s access to the internet was hampered due to technical issues affecting submarine cables.
According to statements issued by PTCL and other internet service providers, outages have been observed on multiple submarine (communication) cables.
No restoration time has been given as yet although efforts are underway to resolve the issue.
