Taj Gasoline intends to acquire 41% share capital of HASCOL

June 14, 2023 (MLN): Taj Gasoline (Private) Limited has submitted a Public Announcement of Intention to acquire at least 41% of the issued and paid-up share capital and control of Hascol Petroleum Limited (HASCOL) through a manager to offer AKD Securities Limited.

This is in accordance with regulation 6(1) of the Listed Companies (Substantial Acquisition of Voting Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2017.

"On behalf of the Acquirer, we are pleased to submit a Public Announcement of Intention to acquire at least 41% of the issued and paid-up share capital and control of Hascol Petroleum Limited ("Target Company")," the notification issued to PSX by AKD Securities reads.

The public announcement of intention will be published in one English and one Urdu newspaper on June 16, 2023.
