Pioneer Cement signs deal for 15MW battery storage, 10MW solar installation
Pioneer Cement Limited (PSX: PIOC) has signed a contract with Pragmatic Engineering Solutions FZE and Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd., China, for the supply and installation of a 15 MW / 30 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), along with an additional 10 MW solar installation at its Chenki manufacturing facility in District Khushab, Punjab.

MLCF board clears amalgamation of PIOC, subject to LHC nod
Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited's (PSX:MLCF) Board of Directors has approved a Scheme of Arrangement for the merger of Pioneer Cement Limited (PIOC) with and into the company, subject to shareholder approval and sanction by the Lahore High Court, marking the final step in MLCF's full absorption.
