Mining, quarrying sector draws largest FDI inflows in September
Pakistan’s mining and quarrying sector attracted the largest gross foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows in September 2026, receiving $62.6m with no outflows, according to provisional data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

China emerged as the largest investor in Pakistan in April 2026, with a net direct investment of $61m, followed by the Hongkong and U.A.E which invested $27.6m and $25m respectively,according to the data issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
