State Bank to increase issuance of new notes ahead of Eid

State Bank of Pakistan has decided to increase the issuance of new notes ahead of eid festival so that people in the country could get more benefits than the last year.

According to the spokesperson of the State Bank of Pakistan this year new notes issuance would reach around Rs 40 billion up from Rs 22 billion last year.

This year the SBP has doubled the branches from where the commuters could acquire new notes. Last year only 500 bank branches had been allowed to entertain the customers asking for new notes, however, this year the number of branches have been increased to 1000.

One person could get Rs 18000 after sending sms to 8877, placing his/her cnic number.
