SPLC to rebrand as Saudi Pak Consultancy following SECP approval

December 02, 2024 (MLN): Saudi Pak Leasing Company Limited (PSX: SPLC), in its quarterly progress update, highlighted its efforts related to the company’s name change to Saudi Pak Consultancy Company Limited, which has been approved by SECP.
A key development highlighted was the withdrawal of the winding-up notice by SECP, following the company's positive performance in FY 2024, with a profit of Rs9.4 million.
The decline in earnings for Q3 2024 compared to the previous year is attributed to delays in finalizing settlement agreements with banks and depositors, it added.
"The company is committed to fulfilling all PSX regulations, resuming business operations, and paying off debt holders. It reassures PSX that it is making all efforts to resolve issues despite the challenges," the notice concluded.
