SilkBank appoints new CEO

August 5, 2020 (MLN): SilkBank Limited has appointed Mr. Shahram Raza Bakhtiari, Director Retail Banking as the new President and CEO of the Bank, subject to the approval of SBP and compliance with all applicable laws, rules and Regulations.

In a notification to Exchange, the Bank has informed that Mr. Shahram has been appointed in place of Mr. Azmat Tarin, who has decided to step down after serving the Bank for 12 years as President and CEO, upon the expiry of his contract in August 2020.

Further the notification revealed that Mr. Azmat Tarin continues to serve as the Director on the Board of the Bank.
