SIFC secures $250mn investment for EV industry expansion

January 02, 2025 (MLN): The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is promoting the electric vehicle (EV) industry, with $250 million in private investment directed into the sector through its collaboration.
According to the new National Electric Vehicle Policy, the target is to achieve 30% electric vehicle usage by 2030, as per the press release issued today.
Through partnerships with international companies, SIFC is assisting in the establishment of EV units and charging infrastructure.
The expansion of the electric vehicle market in Pakistan is being driven by several Chinese companies.
