SIFC boosts IT sector with 50% profit repatriation facility

June 04, 2024 (MLN): Among the most important steps taken by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the facility allowing investors in the IT sector to repatriate up to 50% of their profits stands out as the most significant.

Similarly, the establishment of the Office of the Investment Ombudsman has provided a platform to investors where they can resolve their issues efficiently and invest with confidence.

Appellate Tribunals have also been established in the privatization and telecom sectors so that investors can seek guidance on legal issues related to their investments.

SIFC has launched a website for the convenience of investors through which investors can not only get easy access to the concerned officers but also have access to timely information and services.

Since its establishment, the SIFC has played a pivotal role in providing a favorable environment for investment and business promotion in the country. These aforementioned initiatives are some of the key steps it has taken.
