Service Fabrics renamed G3 Technologies

November 18, 2021 (MLN): After getting it approved by SECP, the name of Service Fabrics Limited (SERF) has been changed to G3 Technologies limited as the company changed its principal line of business from the textile sector to the chemical sector, a notice issued by the company said today.

Accordingly, the management of the company has requested PSX to change the trading symbol of the company from “SERF” to “GTECH”.

The management has also requested to place the company in the “Chemical sector” from the textile sector as the company is in the business of trading, production, and marketing of Calcium Carbide in the country, the notification added.

To recall, the company had recently opened the Letter of Credit (LC) for import of plant and machinery for setup of import substitute Calcium Carbide manufacturing plant at Hattar Economic Zone in order to implement the revival plan.
