Senate Chairman invites UK investors to Pakistan

February 07, 2025 (MLN): To explore investment opportunities in Pakistan, Acting Senate Chairman Syedaal Khan invited British businesses to consider the country’s favorable investment environment.

During a meeting with the UK Deputy Speaker and his delegation in Islamabad, Syedaal Khan highlighted Pakistan’s investor-friendly policies.

He assured the delegation that Pakistan remains committed to fostering a conducive atmosphere for business growth and international partnerships, according to the press release.

He encouraged British traders and companies to invest in Pakistan’s energy, technology, and industrial sectors, emphasizing the potential for strengthened economic cooperation between the two nations.

He also underscored Gwadar Port’s strategic role as a key trade hub, presenting vast opportunities for international investors seeking to expand their presence in the region.

The UK Deputy Speaker acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s democratic progress.
