SECP grants final approval for PKGI to launch operations

August 30, 2024 (MLN): The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has confirmed the previously granted conditional permission for The Pakistan General Insurance Co. Ltd. (PSX: PKGI) to commence operations on March 29, 2024.

According to a notice issued by the company to the local bourse, the SECP has taken this action as the company has met all the stipulated conditions within the designated time frame.

This decision is based on the fulfillment of certain conditions outlined by the SECP in a letter dated August 29, 2024.
