SECP approves Mahaana IGI Islamic Retirement Fund

February 10, 2025 (MLN): The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has approved the Offering Document of Mahaana IGI Islamic Retirement Fund.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification issued by IGI Life Insurance Limited (PSX: IGIL) to Exchange.

It has also approved the investment advisory agreement with Mahaana Wealth Limited under the Voluntary Pension System Rules, 2005.

Following this approval, the compnay is now working towards launching the Fund.

IGIL was incorporated in Pakistan on October 9, 1994 as a public limited company under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (now the Companies Act, 2017).

The Company is engaged in life insurance, carrying on both participating and non-participating business.

The Company is also engaged in providing Shariah Compliant family takaful products as an approved window takaful operator.
