SBP reserves rose by $61.3m in a week

July 13, 2023 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) rose by $61.3 million or 1.37% WoW to $4.52 billion during the week ended on July 07, 2023, according to the data released by the central bank on Thursday.

Similarly, the country's total reserves rose by $93m or 0.95% WoW to $9.84bn.

The reserves held by commercial banks rose by $31.7m or 0.6% WoW to $5.31bn.

It is worth noting that the deposits of $1.2bn from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), $1bn from United Arab Emirates, and $2bn from Saudi Arabia will be reflected in the week ending on July 14, 2023.
